I tried to support MoP, I really thought it would turn the game around. The new skill system, whatever, it’s a neat idea, I don’t think it’s good for WoW but still, it’s interesting, I hold nothing against MoP for that. It’s the little things like fuck heirlooms… oh sorry, like heirlooms are now transferrable accross servers … fuck. Okay yes, sorry about that uhm other small things like, mounts and pets are now shared between characters … that’s cool, not like you removed too many gold sinks in Cataclysm. World PVP is still broken, will probably never be fixed, still nobody quests anymore, will also probably never be fixed. Oh yeah, I forgot about this one, you don’t even need to be literate to play WoW anymore, feel like that should be mentioned …
RIP WoW, I played you more than I’ve ever played another MMO. Tera will be my new love interest. Actually at this point, looking at Diablo III, should I be saying RIP Blizzard? Seriously though, the devs are competant, what it up with the game designers though (Jay Wilson anybody?)? Are they hiring marketing executives as game designers now? Because that’s what it feels like they are doing.
I understand, I really do. They’re appealing to a mass market … this doesn’t make a good game though. This makes a beautiful mindless time waster for the average human being to waste their time on while they slowly gain weight and get out of shape. Maybe, in between they’ll be checking their Facebook, this won’t do for Blizzard though. Future feature: In game Facebook browser with the ability to post your achievements! Now wouldn’t that be fun?
